• Rose Hill Primary School - Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 8DL
• £18,728 pro rata
• 30 hours a week, days and times are negotiable, term time plus three weeks
• Permanent
• Reference: 6341
• Required as soon as possible

Rose Hill Primary School are seeking to appoint a Business Manager who will manage the school finances and the premises team.

You will be required to:

• prepare and monitor the schools budget including forecasts
• be responsible for the effective management of financial administration procedures, including compliance with financial regulations
• process orders and invoices for the whole school
• supporting with the recruitment of staff, following the safer recruitment regulations
• line manage the premises team, which includes the caretaker and the cleaners
• oversee the school site, managing the maintenance and overseeing contractor.

You will have:

• excellent communication and IT skills
• the ability to prioritise work including multi-tasking
• understand the need to always maintain professional confidentiality
• good English and mathematics skills (grade C or level 4 or above)
• knowledge of SIMS.net and SAGE (would be an advantage).
