Gloucestershire NHS Integrated Care Board is pleased to offer a number of Finance and Analytical roles, ranging from NHS Agenda for Change pay scale band 3 to band 7 (salaries range from £22,816 to £50,056).
This is one of two applications for recruitment group 3, which has x2 roles - Benchmarking manager and Finance Analyst Band 6 or 7 (£35,392 to £50,056) to be offered based on experience.

Main duties of the job
As the Benchmarking Manager, your role will include:
- Benchmarking analysis of services and developing innovative ways of ensuring this information is available for use.
- Working with Clinical Programmes and project groups in understanding benchmarking information within their programmes of work
- Review and evaluation of previous service changes
- Business partnering and supporting projects with expert benchmarking analytics
- Supporting the development, review and evaluation of our efficiency & productivity programme

The primary aim of this role is to deliver high quality benchmarking analysis and intelligence to the ICB and wider health system. In particular, key areas of service include:
- Production of benchmarking analysis by making best use of all available benchmarking sources and tools to provide insights to support effective programme planning and decision making.
- Providing expert detailed knowledge and accessible information from national benchmarking tools, for example the Model Health System, to incorporate into programme support and system benchmarking analysis.
- Supporting the development, review and evaluation of Savings, efficiency & productivity programme. Working with health system colleagues to enable joined up planning, reporting and evaluation of schemes within the context of value-based healthcare.
- Utilising relevant benchmarking analysis where appropriate to add key context around focus areas under evaluation. Support the understanding of ICS use of resources, efficiency and effectiveness in context of relevant benchmarking analysis and trend of that information.
