The Role:
Ogilvy's award-winning influence division is one of the first agencies to develop a specialist 'Business Influence' team, integrating the value of influence into the core of Business Marketing operation for clients with a more 'corporate' slant or more B2B focus. We've had the pleasure of working on world leading brands such as Vodafone, Samsung Business, HSBC, Intel Gaming, EY and many more.
Whilst our work does cover both B2B and B2C elements, your experience in B2B marketing and your understanding of B2B audiences, brand value & route to market will play a key role in spotting the areas influence can add value. Corporate and B2B brands have their own set of challenges and objectives, and we're here to prove influencer marketing sits at the heart of their solutions.
Ogilvy's influencer proposition covers the full spectrum of integrated influencer work, from celebrities all the way to micro influencers, from Social media content to above-the-line production. You will be directly responsible for the ideation, project management and execution of influencer marketing campaigns across this spectrum. You'll find in this role, you'll be working across many different styles of activation, from large production shoots, to developing multi-market tool kits, to creating research reports, to developing employee influencers, to partnering with thought-leaders for fantastic event and thought-leadership opportunities.
The Standard of delivery Ogilvy set will require your client management to be first class, you will be results orientated and help strategically develop 'best in class' ongoing influencer programmes with innovative creativity at the core of everything.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as a leader within the team, overseeing incoming project requests and live campaign work.
- Work closely with the Business Director to effectively manage resource and capacity within the team, ensuring projects have the appropriate team attached and are running efficiently.
- A true commercial mind-set, with a keen eye on scoping out projects to understand the costs attached to running our products and types of campaigns.
- Actively contributing & developing Influencer strategy for our B2B and corporate clients: recommend objectives, targets, action plan, selection, content calendar and budget.
- Be able to present creative and sell content solutions to internal stakeholders and new and existing clients.
- Maintain and build and successful client relationships, selling in ideas and content streams in quick turnaround and high-pressure situations.
- Aligning and collaborating with media, PR, social, brand activation, digital and all other stakeholders - internal and external to deliver best in class campaigns for our clients.
- Stay up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers' views and attitudes.
- Assists in the development of and participation in promoting our Business Influencer offering across the business - it's something we're proud of and we want everyone to know about it!
- Supports on additional projects as required - such as new business pitches, market reviews and competitive trends.
Requirements:
- Passion for influencer marketing with a minimum of four years' experience in the field (Either B2B or B2C both applicable)
- Understanding the opportunity in the developing influencer marketing for corporate and B2B brands, recognising the difference between B2B & B2C and the unique challenges a more corporate positioned brand face.
- Demonstrate experience in building productive relationships with both clients & influencers.
- An innovative, creative approach to the opportunity in influence.
- A real believe in the power of influencer marketing in the B2B and corporate space. A keenness to want the world to know about it!
- The ability to remain optimistic under pressure.
- Keeping abreast of and utilising new industry tech & developments, and follower of relevant news & trends.
- Proven experience of integrating digital and social media in campaign activity. A keen understanding of the LinkedIn platform would be a nice-to-have.
- Self-motivated, action-oriented and ambitious with a positive "can-do" attitude
- Team player, ability to work together, delegate and elevate others.
