The Business Improvement Manager is central to TQUK's technical strategy, and is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and continuous improvement of business systems and processes. This role involves collaborating with various departments, and ensuring that the organisation's systems are efficient, effective, and aligned with strategic objectives.

The role has direct line management responsibilities for a team of Business Improvement specialists, with wide-ranging skills across Project Management, Data Analysis, Systems/Process Improvement and Data Compliance. We are seeking an individual who is focused on continuous improvement and can lead and inspire change within the Business Improvement team and across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Leading and developing a team of Business Improvement specialists covering:

  • Project Management
  • Data Analysis
  • Systems/Process Improvement
  • Data Compliance
  • Overseeing the development, implementation and continuous improvement of business systems and processes, and managing a centralised roadmap covering each aspect

Managing the relationships with infrastructure related third parties covering:

  • Development
  • Implementation
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Support/Issues
  • Contract Management
  • Compliance
  • Managing external IT provider relationships
  • Fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation across the business
  • Leading on ensuring that systems are integrated, efficient and aligned with strategic goals
  • Overseeing an Operational Improvement Scheme, collaborating with Managers and Leaders to promote operational efficiencies and process improvement.

Other Responsibilities

  • Maintain excellent working knowledge of Training Qualifications UK products, internal and external processes, and regulatory obligations
  • Ensure that TQUK employees are well informed of business improvement initiatives or information from our external IT provider
  • Efficient and effective data and file management; inputting, filing, and monitoring of data.

Key Requirements

  • Management experience for a minimum of 2 years
  • Experience of business improvement in previous roles
  • Experience of managing Hubspot CRM, or similar CRM specific projects and business improvement
  • Experience in running company wide audits, focused on quality improvement or business improvement
  • Experience of project management previous business improvement or management roles
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders and the "softer skills" involved in leading change and managing competing needs
  • A good understanding of data compliance
  • English and Maths at a minimum of Level 2
  • Good technical expertise and understanding.
