Base Location: Perth or Portsmouth

Salary: £49,559 - £56,757 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

SSEN are looking to recruit a Business Improvement Manager in either Perth or Portsmouth. Reporting to the Customer Business Improvement & Planning Lead, the Business Improvement Manager is responsible for the implementation and communication of initiatives and change across a specific team within SSEN Customer Service including:

- Leading the implementation of projects, working collaboratively with Customer Journey Owners to design and deliver the communication of customer and colleague led change into the business.

- Manage the impact of change working closely with the SSEN Business Change and Performance and Heads of Department to implement, embed and sustain new ways of working safely and effectively to the benefit of customers.

- Provide expert knowledge and regulation insight to process design to improve efficiencies including developing, designing, testing and implementing new processes.

- Produce and maintain regular progress reporting of implementation pipeline and customer insight in the success of improvements and ensure benefits are realised.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.

- Experience developing process maps, flow diagrams and related documentation for process redesign.

- Stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills with excellent communication skills with experience at communicating complex messages at all levels.

- Experience of implementing a wide range of projects.

- IT skills with the ability to understand the benefits of and adapt to new tech solutions quickly.
