Business Development Manager - Sterile Reprocessing Solutions (SRS)

Location: UK, Field Based

We are looking for a Business Development Manager for our Sterile Reprocessing Solutions team. You will play an integral role in the promotion and development of our SRS consumables portfolio across the UK. Developing effective sales strategies and tactics to win new accounts, focusing on the development of both existing and new SRS consumable sales customers and to collaborate with your team, to share, build and meet our goals.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Be the main point of contact for all existing customers for Getinge consumable sales enquiries including the Meditrax and Healthmark consumable range.
  • Be a supporting contact for Digital Health Solutions (DHS) enquires and quotes.
  • Be the main point of contact for internal stakeholders within the relevant Business Area.
  • Support with Consumable pricing in UKI as well as go to market strategies for new products.
  • To support in the creation of GTM strategy for Consumables
  • To produce quotes/tenders, pricing aggreements and associated correspondence within given timescales
  • To deliver corporate and product specific presentations to all key stakeholders (internal and external)
  • To follow up and monitor bid progress to financial close working directly with customers and the Capital Sales team
  • Provide sales support to customers on a daily basis with selling, education, evaluations and follow up visits
  • Implementation of all key educational programs and tools
  • To ensure that the internal sales systems are used consistently and effectively (e.g. CRM system)
  • Meet sales targets / establish opportunities and develop strategies to maximize opportunities
  • Support promotional activity as directed by sales management.
  • Responsible for timely completion of administrative tasks and projects inc consumable tender submissions.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • HND/degree level, ideally in Science or Engineering (desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience of budget/forecasting/financial acumen
  • Experience working within the Infection Control and/or DHS business would be a distinct advantage
  • Proven successful sales background with hands-on approach to "lead by example"
  • A strong background in dealing with clients at a high level
  • Experience within consumables sales within the medical field is essential
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • UK Requirements: Eligibility to work in the UK (essential).
  • Driving Licence: Required to hold a valid UK driver's license.
  • Travel: Ability to travel within the UK and abroad with overnight stays as and when required.
  • IT: Must have at least intermediate level Microsoft Office skills namely Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

To help meet our goals of becoming CO2 neutral by 2025, we travel only if we must. In this role, you will be required to travel to visit customers, other offices, and to support the sales process domestically and internationally.
