Join Atlas Copco Power Technique as a Business Development Manager. You will maximise the Sales and Profitability of the Atlas Copco Power Technique Service business, through effective Key Accounts management and channel partners. You will focus on understanding client needs, promoting sustainable solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of parts and services. You will be responsible for the UK & Ireland PTS business, developing existing accounts and looking for new direct sales opportunities for our power and flow products. You will report to the Business Line Manager and will be remote with a dedicated territory.

Your role:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts in the UK & Ireland market.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and escalations.
  • Understand customer needs and promote Power and Flow aftermarket parts and service solutions.
  • Develop parts and service business for our Pumps, Generators and Energy storage systems.
  • Create a road map to grow on the Service ladder by promoting preventative parts business, service contracts, Refurb and used equipment.
  • Develop a strategy to generate revenue from our Energy Storage systems.
  • Drive Refurb and Reman program for pumps and generators.
  • Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing structures with key accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual agreements and terms.
  • Work closely with our teams, including sales, technical support, and logistics, to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide feedback to other teams based on customer interactions.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to find effective solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Provide market insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on key account performance and revenue.

What we expect of you:

  • Proven track record in Sales within engineering/manufacturing.
  • You are based in the North and possess a full, clean driving license.
  • Must be proficient in MS365.
  • Goal-focused mindset, with a clear focus on achieving targets and maintaining effectiveness.
