Business Development Manager within the IHS channel, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth in lending to customers in the residential cash-buying property market. Your focus will be on building strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the overall success of our organisation.
As a Business Development Manager, we are looking for someone to:
- Identify and target potential clients within the cash-buying residential property space, building strong relationships to increase customer base and client loyalty
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and competitor activities. Use this information to inform business strategy and client engagement
- Work with the Director of IHS to create and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed business targets
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with industry stakeholders, including real estate agents, brokers, and property investors, to expand the IHS channel's reach
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the products and services offered by the IHS channel. Present these to clients in a clear and compelling manner
- Actively manage a sales pipeline ensuring customers receive the required updates and cases fund within the desired timeframes
- Negotiate pricing and funding levels with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements while meeting company revenue goals
- Maintain accurate working knowledge of the group's current product criteria & underwriting processes. To be point of contact for team queries
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills with all customers so that their loan journey is efficient from start to finish
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Participate in relevant training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
Qualifications
Essential
- Strong understanding of experience of dealing with residential property.
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- A background in telephone or face to face sales
- Able to operate outside of own personal objectives & work in a team to achieve business objectives and maximise sales
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience of working with a CRM system and updating contact record
