An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join our CCTV Sales team at our Havant Branch
The Role: Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager, you will support and facilitate the development of new business, maximising existing business and increasing brand presence and awareness.
Key Responsibilities: Business Development Manager
- Identify and develop new opportunities in the market
- Identify and understand the needs of the customers and recommend appropriate products and services
- Manage a portfolio of accounts for new and existing customers from sales to delivery
- Record all contact information, and customer requirements follow-up information on the internal database
- Produce quotations and proposals for customers
- Ensure all orders are processed and dispatched
- Manage and share weekly/monthly sales pipeline documents to management
- Achieve KPI's focussed on call statistics, sales figures, and product lines
- Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships
- Demonstrate experience of proactive sales by telephone
- Provide input and market feedback to the management team
- Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately
- Contribute to marketing campaigns
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new suppliers
- Liaise with internal departments
Your Skills and Experience: Business Development Manager
- A strong background in customer management and support
- Ability to innovate and deliver under pressure
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of Excel and MS office applications
