Business Development Manager, Dr. Barbara Sturm

The Opportunity

Working hand in hand with Markets, the Business Development Manager (Business Analyst) supports the implementation of the Brand Go-To-Market strategy to meet business goals, and is the central point person for Brand sales performance analytics.

This is a 12 month fixed- term contract.

What you'll get to do

Business Analysis and Performance:

  • Collect and analyse distribution, performance and productivity data
  • Create monthly performance reports- by market, channel & category
  • Provide regular team updates on business performance and opportunities
  • Work with the Marketing team on both the Global and Market side to share competitive Market updates to the Global teams
  • Organise and prepare brand performance information for Quarterly Brand Reviews
  • With the rest of the BD team, identify and mitigate operational risks (e.g. supply challenges)
  • Review global CPS demand by initiative in hand with the Global Demand Planning team

Consumer Environment:

  • Build effective working relationships across both the Global Brand team and with our Markets, to be able to support the successful implementation of the Global Strategy across the world
  • Support in conveying the Brand vision and work collaboratively with cross functional Market teams for the successful implementation of the Go-To-Market plans and strategic priorities
  • Support the Business Development Director to assess new door proposals across all channels
  • Work together with the Corporate HQ team & Global Marketing team on global pricing process
  • Work with the Store Design & VM team on Market execution opportunities and delivery of new fully and semi bespoke spaces

Consumer Experience:

  • Manage product assortment guidelines by market, channel & space with input from Global Marketing and VM
  • Review and roll out door planograms with support from the VM team
  • Review and roll out Global Pricing strategies as defined by the Global Marketing Team, providing input and feedback within the process on behalf of the Markets
  • Organise and prepare brand performance information for Quarterly Brand Reviews

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • Experience within the Beauty, Luxury or Consumer Goods industries in a similar role.
  • Proven brand business development knowledge is essential.
  • Highly numerate, with ability to analyse figures to draw conclusions and strong business recommendations.
  • Self-starter able to work autonomously, driving momentum on multiple projects and proactively planning ahead.
  • Highly organised with prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Collaborative team player, with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • At ease dealing with complexity and ambiguity.
  • Sensitivity to luxury and good attention to detail.
  • Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Outlook, Word, advanced Excel and PowerPoint all essential).
