Unilabs UK, a leading provider of diagnostic services, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our Cell and Digital Pathology Services. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with a proven track record in sales, account management, and tender management within the healthcare sector.

Location: London, England, United Kingdom with 60% National Travel

Role Overview: As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, developing key accounts, and expanding our customer network within the NHS, public, and private healthcare providers. You will play a crucial role in achieving and exceeding pathology sales budgets by promoting our competitive value proposition in cell and digital pathology services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in target accounts.
• Lead tender management processes, ensuring timely and successful submissions.
• Collaborate closely with operations and international colleagues to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
• Utilize a challenger sales mindset to identify opportunities and overcome objections.
• Act as the ultimate sales hunter, proactively seeking out new business opportunities.
• Demonstrate agility and entrepreneurial thinking in adapting to market dynamics.
• Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with clients, leveraging your strong interpersonal skills.
• Provide insights and feedback to enhance service offerings and address client needs.

Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in selling clinical services within the healthcare industry.
• Proven track record in key account management and customer network development.
• Expertise in tender management processes, particularly within NHS and public/private providers.
• Challenger sales mindset with a relentless drive to achieve targets.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel nationally up to 60% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (preferred).
