A prestigious Design and Build fit out contractor based in the heart of London is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an unparalleled chance to drive growth and make a significant impact within a company renowned for its innovative office refurbishments and high-end design and fit-out projects.

Our client is looking for someone with the base skills that they can train and mentor into the role. You will have the opportunity to work with market leaders who have a great reputation in the industry and will guide you through the early stage development. The goal is to then hire other sales support staff over the next 12 - 18 months who will report in to this position so the earning potential is huge!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth targets.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with the design and project management teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven track record in business development, experience within the design and build industry or related construction exposure would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business avenues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior business development role.
  • Professional certifications in business development or sales management are advantageous.
