Role Summary:
UK Connect, a national provider of advanced wireless connectivity, IoT solutions, and Professional Services seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to support the growth within the Construction Sector. About the role:
As a National Business Development Manager, you will be a key commercial team member responsible for winning new logos from our top 150 target list. Your core focus will be to develop and implement strategies and capitalise on opportunities that will ensure UK Connect is growing its footprint within the UK Construction Sector. Helping our customers through their digital transformation journey offering a wide portfolio of solutions including Wireless Connectivity, IoT Solutions, and Professional services.

About you:
You will be an experienced Business Development sales professional with experience working with large FTSE enterprises, providing Technology solutions. You will be able to demonstrate prior success in this field and operate independently as well as with the wider commercial team and technology team as required. Core to this role will be your ability to build deep relationships with key stakeholders and the trust required to allow you to work with your customers to identify their core technology challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Work closely with the Pre-Sales and Solutions Architects to develop tailored solutions.
- Manage and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Bids and tenders create compelling proposals for enterprise clients.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven track record in business development, with experience working with bids and tenders.
- Background in wireless connectivity solution selling or experience in UK Connect target markets.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, focusing on customer success.
- Strong understanding of Wireless Connectivity solutions, in particular 5G FWA.
