As a Business Development Manager - you will be aiding the growth and development of our client base, helping to introduce our services to potential clients and explaining how we can enhance their sales and marketing strategies.

This is an opportunity to spearhead our client acquisition in the UK and European markets and help us grow to the next level! As a BDM you will be a driver for success and motivation for our junior sales reps!

What will you be doing?

As a 'Business Development Manager' you will be selling the concept of StraightIn and booking appointments for the sales team, with some of your daily tasks including....

  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers - or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
  • Complete full sales cycles - from lead generation to contract signing, you are with them through every stage!
  • Developing relationships with potential clients
  • Managing warm leads passed to you
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  • Thinking strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Understanding and confidently explaining our products and how they will integrate (or replace) with services they may already be using!
  • ensure staff are on board throughout the organisation, and understand the need for change and what is required of them

Who are you?

Motivated, hungry and a drive for success is what we are looking for to put it simply. And on top of these key traits, we are also looking for....

  • Minimum 2 years general sales experience, with at least 1 year closing deals!
  • Proven experience in 360 sales (from lead generation to closing - you should be confident in your abilities at all stages!)
  • Any experience in B2B sales is a huge plus!
  • Background knowledge in marketing products is a huge plus!
  • You don't shy away from rejection
  • Confident speaking to everyone and anyone! Whether you're talking to your teammate or a CEO
  • Adaptable and dynamic
  • Driven to work your way up and develop your career
