Job Description

A client-facing role responsible for expanding our market presence in the United Kingdom, through the acquisition of new clients. Requiring a background in sales and business development, the role requires a deep understanding of digital customer experience management, payments or collection solutions to deliver growth across illion DTS's range of products. The role is accountable for prospecting and converting new sales opportunities whilst adhering to a structured sales process to ensure consistency and efficiency in achieving sales goals.

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients within various industries that can benefit from our payments and collections solutions.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive new business growth, including market research, lead generation, and outreach initiatives.
  • Structured Sales Process: Follow a structured sales process to ensure consistency and efficiency in acquiring new clients.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our solutions.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals with new clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within payments, financial services, or collections industry.
  • Experience selling to Financial Services, Utilities, Telecommunications or Public Sector preferred. Demonstrable experience in developing customer-centric, differentiated and achievable solutions, with the ability to position them against competitors.
  • Proven ability to navigate through an organisational structure to identify key stakeholders and build relationships combined with experience in coaching and supporting team members to develop this competency.
  • Proven track record of successful client acquisition and sales achievements.
  • Strong understanding of digital customer experience management, payments and collection solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
