The Role: Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our growth strategy, identifying new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with employers. Your main responsibilities will include:

Prospecting and acquiring new employers industries ripe for apprenticeship programmes.

Collaborating with employers to understand their workforce development needs and tailoring solutions to meet their goals.

Conducting consultative sales presentations and negotiations to secure employers.

Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential employers through networking and market research.

Providing ongoing support and guidance to employers throughout the implementation of apprenticeship and work experience programs.

Requirements:

Proven track record in business development, with a focus on consultative selling.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.

Experience in the education or workforce development sector is a plus.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented, with a passion for making a positive impact.

London South East Colleges is a successful and innovative College operating with sites across Bromley, Bexley, Orpington, Greenwich and Lambeth. As the College supports a number of children and vulnerable adults, all staff are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Accordingly, all staff will be subject to an 'Enhanced' DBS (formerly CRB) check, along with a Children's Barred List check if in regulated activity.
