The benefits of being a Business Development Manager at Spicerhaart

  • Basic salary of £32,000 per year
  • Complete on target earnings of £54,000 per year
  • Company Car, or a monthly car allowance
  • Company laptop and mobile phone
  • Monday to Friday (With occasional Saturday working as necessary)

Main purpose of the Business Development Manager at Spicerhaart

To generate new business from Developer and other Corporate Clients for both Group and External estate agents. To build both internal and external relationships to drive business.

The main duties of the Business Development Manager at Spicerhaart

  • Maximise new business for Part Exchange & Group Clients whilst achieving targets set for the same.
  • Ensure all new business fits within the group required minimum fee criteria and that all potential Group business is immediately passed to the relevant and allocated team member for further discussion, liaison, and negotiation.
  • To ensure company standards of professionalism, presentation and quality of service are maintained and surpassed at all times.
  • The provide a monthly report of all sales activities undertaken including business 'wins', 'losses' and appointments made for the future.
  • To help promote an ethos of 'One Business' within the rest of the Group/marketplace at every opportunity and create synergy with other disciplines.
  • To regularly meet with identified sources of new business, ensuring that high levels of customer care are being achieved by all areas of the Group that 'touch' new business, reporting any areas of concern to the relevant discipline contact.
  • To identify, generate and develop new business opportunities for other parts of Group.
  • To ensure 'new business' developers' requirements are satisfied, and ongoing relationships maintained.
  • Regularly update market intelligence and identifying new potential business.
  • Make regular calls on 'cold' clients to solicit new instructions.
  • Make 'pitch' presentations in the required company format and agree strategy with potential clients.
  • Regularly update the central new business system covering all contact made with clients/potential clients.
  • Periodically attend site sales meetings with PX/GC Clients to gauge ongoing customer/care/service and to ascertain other areas of potential future business.
  • Monitor competitors and familiarise yourself with their 'product' pricing/fees and any new incentive/directives offered to clients.
  • Keep up to date on company products/services.
  • All opportunities to refer to Group products and services to be recognised and actioned.
  • Keep updated on current market trends, local knowledge, and competitor activity.
  • Always maintain accountability and integrity.
  • To be a part of the PX-GC senior team and attend meetings, present opportunities, ideas, and reports as required.
