Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our South-based team of Business Development Managers within our Direct and Bank Distribution department.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for achieving new business targets within the Direct and Bank Distribution department and building, managing and developing a network of introducers and bank relationships to enable consistent delivery of new business revenue.

What you will do:

• Represent Allianz Trade in a professional & ethical manner.
• Achieve new business targets.
• Develop business relationships with existing & new brokers, introducers & bank partners.
• Manage & convert new business leads provided by the Market Management and generate own leads by self prospecting and managing a local CRM database.
• Provide feedback on the leads generated by Market Management.
• Interact closely with other core functions.
• To provide accurate management information on a regular basis.

What you will bring:

• A proven track record in new business to business field sales.
• Commercial awareness.
• The ability to read and perform basic financial analysis from a set of accounts.
• Experience in consultative selling.
• The ability to present technical information effectively.
• Ability to liaise and build relationships with members of other core functions.
