Force are proud to be supporting a leading Healthcare Solutions company dedicated to developing, manufacturing and distributing innovative healthcare products globally. As they continue to expand their presence, are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join the team.

Job Summary:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding their market presence. Your primary focus will be on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and nurturing existing client relationships. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth trajectory.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape within an existing or new product line or industry sector
  • Work with the senior management team to identify areas which are of interest for growth
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and engage key decisionmakers within target organisations, building strong relationships and understanding their needs.
  • Developing and managing relationships with new business partners and potential clients in order to generate new business opportunities
  • Identify new Principals to establish Partnerships with, resulting in the launching of new product/brands to market
  • Identify new Principals/Manufacturers which complement our existing business structure or form the anchor for a strategic development within the business
  • Develop strategic sales and marketing plans for the onboarding of all new partnerships
  • Collaborates and maintains effective relationships with peers within Company to affect broader success and construct solutions that bridge to other technology or business services providing strategic value to clients
  • Work with the Sales Management, company representatives and marketing team to ensure the successful onboarding of any new partnerships
  • Identify manufactures within the market place whose current route to market is less than optimal or underperforming and whom would benefit from our expertise
  • Conducting research on target companies in order to determine their value as potential acquisitions
  • Evaluating potential mergers and acquisitions based on financials and business fit
  • Identify potential bolt-on's which would complement our current portfolios
  • Planning and implementing strategies for increasing brand awareness and developing new products lines
  • Responsible for revenue growth through ongoing business development within the company
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including R&D, marketing, and operations, to develop tailored solutions for clients and address their specific requirements.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our brand and establish thought leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and business cases to potential clients and for prospective pitches, showcasing the value of our products and services.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Conduct accurate market analyses to determine demand for products services and identify opportunities for new/expand hospital programs and healthcare services
  • Work directly with senior executive leadership to develop and execute long-term growth strategy for the company
  • Any other tasks that are required to develop the business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development within the clinical diagnostics industry or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of the clinical diagnostics market, including key players, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisionmakers.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
