The role

We are currently looking to appoint an experienced and accomplished Business Development Director from within the Fire & Security industry. As well as developing new business opportunities and expanding services within our existing client base, the role will also involve working in partnership with our sister company Carlisle Support Services. Carlisle has a client base of over 70 high profile organisations across the public and private sector, and we see this as a significant opportunity to provide a range of bespoke integrated solutions.

Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities:

Drive business growth by identifying and developing new sales opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional solutions and services.

Professionally represent the company's brand and successfully sell the Company's fire & security products within an allocated geographical area, ensuring achievement of an agreed target.

Manage the existing client base and focus on retention and development of each account in an assigned geographical area.

Identify & target potential clients in the fire and security industry, generating new sales opportunities for all Marlowe Fire & Security products.

Attend appointments to sell the company's products and services ensuring customer satisfaction of service delivery, representing the Company in a professional manner at all times.

Collate appropriate information to present performance data and ensure all correct documentation utilised.

Constant attainment of agreed targets based upon a mix of new business, existing business and additional revenue streams.

Conduct Fire & Security audits at client's premises and generate recommendations.

Develop & implement strategies to achieve sales targets.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and opportunities.

Build & deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals / Negotiate and close deals.

Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and technicians, to ensure successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate

Demonstrable experience in sales and business development within the fire and security industry.

Used to working with Senior Stakeholders and be able to identify key Accounts.

Show a deep understanding of fire and security solutions and technologies.

Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Are proficient in using CRM systems and sales tools.

Hold a valid driver's license and are willing to travel as required.

Location is National

Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes.

This could include the following: passport / driving licence / utility bill dated in the last 3 months / HMRC letter / original bank statement / original payslip / birth certificate / a valid share code.
