PeopleCert is seeking a Senior Business Development and Education Partnerships Manager to deliver exam sales growth and lead efforts in gaining further HEI recognition for LANGUAGECERT exams in the UK and Ireland.

Leveraging a deep understanding of the assessment market and LANGUAGECERT's offerings and go-to-market strategy, the manager will develop robust pipelines, secure new business, and build productive relationships with decision-makers across training organizations, universities, pathway providers, agents and corporations. As well as providing support and guidance to the team.

As a Senior Business Development and Education Partnerships Manager, your tasks will include the following:
• Develop and execute country strategy to deliver business growth, increased recognition and fruitful partnerships in UK and Ireland.
• Deliver B2B market growth by implementing a results-oriented sales strategy.
• Identify decision makers in UK and Irish HEIs, promote LANGUAGECERT's range of products, and gain recognition for our exams. Once recognition is achieved, actively seek and develop partnership and business opportunities.
• On achieving recognition, working closely with point of contact to ensure the recognition is publicly stated on HEIs website and awareness is disseminated across the relevant teams.
• Leverage account management expertise and significant professional experience to build and sustain high-quality business relationships with stakeholders at all levels within HEIs, pathway providers, training organisations, language schools, agencies and other relevant companies. Fostering their promotion and advocacy for our exams to increase sales growth.
• Conduct regular visits to higher educational institutions across the UK and Ireland and seek opportunities to present to admissions and recruitment teams in person and online.
• Engage in industry events, networks and forums to enhance market awareness and recognition of LANGUAGECERT's exams. Work with teams to create and promote content about our exams to stakeholders in industry.
• Identify pain points or challenges for institutional partners, provide market guidance to internal teams, and explore further collaboration or cross-selling opportunities with regional business development and Accredited Academic Partner teams.
• Maintain oversight of relevant policy developments and legislative changes to leverage new opportunities for expanding partnerships and customer base.
• Track performance against daily/weekly/monthly sales targets and provide regular reports to Headquarters.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and contacts in the PeopleCert CRM.

What we look for:

-Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

-Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills for collaborating with executives, external stakeholders, and cross-functional teams at all levels.

-Over 10 years of experience in business development, with a demonstrated history of successful business transactions.

-Proven track record of delivering B2B market growth by implementing a results-oriented sales strategy.

-Experience of working within the international higher education sector and working with university decision makers

-Extensive experience of working in senior business development and recognition roles within the language assessment sector.

-Demonstrable experience of effective negotiation, including developing and agreeing collaboration in relation to admissions requirements for international students and negotiating commercial agreements.

-Experience of delivering targets to agreed timeframes.

-Experience of preparing and presenting business cases and proposals.

-Excellent command of the English language (native-like or C2 level certification desired, LANGUAGECERT C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus).

-Ability to work to tight deadlines to achieve goals.

-Excellent attention to detail

-Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification would be considered a plus.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.
