If you share our values and want to be a part of a successful, dynamic, and creative global business then we want to hear from you.
The Opportunity:
Clarion is entering an exciting phase in its evolution as we transform towards a digital- and customer-first approach to deliver excellent outcomes that future-proof our business. Complementing our B2B events business, we're building a digital offering around media, marketing services, membership apps, and the business around it to support it.
Reporting to the Head of Transformation, we are seeking an experienced Change Manager who can take our people on a journey, showing our business teams that the future is bright. Working across all of Clarion Digital Media's portfolios (Gaming, Defence, Consumer Electronics), this role will plan and execute robust change management plans across technology, process, and people projects to ensure the success of the initiatives as well as business adoption.
As part of the Transformation team within the Digital function, this role requires not only a strong understanding of change management methodologies but also a good technical understanding of Agile and technology/software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
A plan for success
- Be the go-to person that drives the "people side of change" across a multitude of projects, including technology, processes, and people/culture initiatives across all Digital portfolios.
- Collaborate with key senior stakeholders to articulate and map the benefits, track those during and beyond project completion, and report on status and progress.
- Conduct change impact assessments for projects and design appropriate change management strategies focused on adoption and usage that push us towards the desired outcomes.
- Stay close to business teams to understand their needs/problems and translate these into actionable projects for us to deliver, getting us one step at a time closer to the TOM.
Embody and drive the change
- Own and execute the change management plans across all transformation initiatives, with a focus on those underpinned by technology, including Microsoft Dynamics, DxP (Optimizely), and apps.
- Work closely with delivery teams to orchestrate the release, delivering training for teams and/or release notes.
- Own the Training Directory and ensure relevant documentation is created to the set standard to enable us and business teams to sustain the change.
- Collaborate with programme and project management in the execution, being the connecting glue between delivery and business teams through crystal clear communications linked to benefits.
Shaping the future roadmap
- Facilitate lessons learned reviews with delivery and business teams and advise on Ways of Working improvements, striving for operational excellence within the Transformation Office.
- Work closely with the Head of Transformation on the wider change roadmap for Clarion Digital as the 'voice of the customer' (i.e., our business teams), translating needs into problems to solve for.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:
- Proven experience of hands-on management for the "people side of change" within Digital Transformation on a variety of different changes: technology, process, people.
- Curiosity and empathy to put yourself in the other person's shoes to understand their needs, paired with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Confidence in challenging the status quo through engaging with senior leaders and the ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders across all teams.
- Fluent communicator, influencer, and collaborator, with the ability to change language depending on the audience.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools like Azure DevOps, MS Project, etc.
