Permanent Full time - 36.5 hours perweek/52 weeks per year
Working Pattern:
5:30 am to 1:30 pm (Monday to Thursday)
5.30 am to 12:30 pm (Friday)
(please notethat occasionally some weekend and out of hours work will be required)
Thank you for yourinterest in this post. We are looking for a permanent Building Services Managerto join our dedicated and hard-working federated site team. This position willbe based on the Victoria School/Victoria College campus (Northfield).
The successful candidatewill be a committed, reliable and self-motivated person, who is able to formpositive relationships with a range of stakeholders. As the Building Services Manageryou will work closely with the Site Manager and share responsibility for thesecurity, safety, maintenance and cleanliness of the estate ensuring awelcoming and safe environment for our whole school/college community. This role will include co-ordination and managementof external contractors and a requirement to undertake reactive repairs andmaintenance across the campus.
Key Requirements
• Behard-working and flexible and able to meet the physical demands detailed in thejob description
• Ableto demonstrate the practical skills required to be able to undertake a range ofgeneral grounds maintenance, decorating, repairs and property maintenanceissues
• Theability to communicate and work effectively as part of a wider team
Responsibility for keyholding and responding to out of hours alarm call-outs (on occasion) is arequirement of the position therefore a flexible approach to work hours is needed.Although based at the Victoria campus the successful candidate would be requiredto support other nearby settings in the federation when required.
