BAM Construction is recruiting for a Building Services Manager for our London Business. The role is a full time site based on a London project. BAM operates a flexible working policy

Your mission

• Preconstruction responsibilities to include vetting of sub-contractors tender documents against ER's
• Analysis and Management of team resources.
• Responsibility for Health & Safety in line with BAM policies.
• Project planning in conjunction with Project Planner and Project Manager.
• Prepare and manage the sites 'Project Management Plan'
• Monitor and review sub-contractors against pre-construction / installation programmes.
• Provide written monthly report to Project Manager.
• Chair two weekly rolling progress meetings with principle sub-contractors.
• Manage / maintain records of all sub-contractors working drawings.
• Manage requests for information.
• Maintain daily site diary.
• Carry out Quality Control inspections for the entire services installation.
• Ensure testing and commissioning is carried out and witnessed accordingly.
• Ensure 'as installed drawing' and O&M Manual are completed / issued.
• Operate systems and procedures in line with BAM standard protocol.
• Management of projects defects / aftercare.

Who are we looking for?

• Demonstrable experience within a similar role.
• Minimum relevant qualification to HNC, HND level.
• Experience in using Microsoft packages.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment or as an individual with minimum supervision.
