HEAD OF GROWTH, BRAVE BISON
Who are we?
A world where complexity is the only constant demands a new breed of company. Brave Bison is a different beast: a media, marketing and technology company purpose built for the digital era.
Our universe is made up of award-winning business arms Brave Bison, Engage, SocialChain and MTM. And we're underpinned by leading marketing training practice, MiniMBA, as well as our very own social-first media network who deliver monthly views in the billions for some of the biggest channels in sport and entertainment across YouTube, Snap, Meta and TikTok.
We're a global collective who live and breathe digital, working with some of the boldest brands in the world to capitalise on the complexity that defines the modern marketing landscape.
Our mission
New platforms, new behaviours, new audiences, new trends, new technologies, new regulations-our clients' worlds get more complex daily. Their agency partnerships shouldn't. It's our job to cut through the chaos, make the complex simple and navigate a clear path to growth for them.
That's why we make it our mission to capitalise on complexity for our clients-across consultancy, capability and execution-by crafting dynamic digital solutions that outpace tomorrow's challenges.
Our values
We're a proudly diverse business comprised of deep specialists across media, marketing, training and technology. Although our skills, backgrounds and beliefs may differ, we are united by four core shared values:
- Bold Curiosity.
We run at change and challenge convention because we love to push the boundaries of what the world thinks is possible. We champion discovery, go deep into our clients' worlds and are always hungry to learn more about them, our specialisms and each other.
- Connected Clarity.
We are focused in our collaboration - joining the right dots between our clients, our partners and our herd of experts to deliver agile solutions at speed and scale. We set a shared ambition from the outset, are transparent at every stage and always strive to make the complex simple.
- Positive Encouragement.
We want to make working with us the best part of someone's day. We lift one other up, find the fun in the day to day and are committed to ensuring everyone belongs.
- Constant Impact.
We believe in outcomes over outputs. We're goal orientated, results driven and data-led. We show up with passion every day. And we're always honing our craft.
Your role
We're on the hunt for a commercially astute, multi-hyphenate and ultra-organised Head of Growth to lead our global growth efforts across all Brave Bison business units and service lines.
This isn't your run-of-the-mill growth role. Reporting directly to the CMO, you'll be managing a talented team of growth leads across a broad range of disciplines, from social-first brand and creative strategy, through to SEO consultancy, media and fan engagement.
You'll also be responsible for elevating our growth operations across the board, supercharging and streamlining how we generate demand, acquire leads and convert opportunities into long-term revenue across our agency and product services. If you're as excited by analytics and process as you are by pitching fame-driving creative and game-changing consultancy, this role's for you.
We're growing fast. You'll help us grow faster.
About you:
To thrive in this role, you'll be:
- Strategic: You're a big-picture thinker who can think cross-discipline across the entire marketing mix to help our teams build solutions that cut through complexity and unlock new opportunities for the business.
- Commercially minded: You know what levers to pull to drive revenue and are confident navigating forecasts, spotting trends in data and meeting performance targets.
- Audience-obsessed: You deeply understand our clients and prospects and can build prospecting journeys that positively influence them at every touchpoint.
- Adaptable: You love finding new ways to drive engagement and are just as comfortable briefing creative as you are interrogating a performance dashboard.
- Tech-savvy: You're across the latest growth MarTech, AI and automation tools, and know how to integrate them into team workflows to drive competitive advantage.
- Adaptable: You can inspire, align and influence people across multiple stakeholders and departments.
You'll have:
- 10+ years of experience in a growth role operating across performance media, social media, fan engagement or digital (ideally across several agencies or in a network)
- Proven success in designing and delivering high-performing multi-channel growth strategies and departmental optimisation roadmaps that scale efficiently and effectively.
- Experience managing pipeline and performance data across CRM systems (Hubspot preferred), and a strong track record of CRM optimisation.
- Proven ability leading a team to meet ambitious growth targets.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and testing new commercial models to better monetise products and services.
- Strong understanding of the full marketing landscape.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and visual; from decks to dashboards.
- A test-and-learn mindset with the ability to iterate and optimise your output at pace.
Every day will be different, but some of your core responsibilities will include:
- Working with the CMO, CCO and individual agency CEOs to define and implement Brave Bison's growth strategy across all business units and target verticals.
- Delivering our business-wide growth optimisation roadmap - from strategic prioritisation through to hands-on execution.
- Line managing a team of growth leads to meet annual new business targets and driving best practice in prospecting, pitch management and onboarding across the team.
- Evolving and optimising our CRM system (Hubspot) to drive greater efficiency, better reporting and stronger lead conversion.
- Collaborating with business unit leaders, finance and client services teams to align commercial objectives with our growth efforts.
- Identifying and evolving new commercial models that unlock growth across our services and platforms.
- Leading experimentation and innovation across our growth process, including the design and build of custom AI tools to drive efficiency.
- Partnering with the marketing team to deliver high-performing lead generation campaigns across paid media, SEO, social, email, and events that drive pipeline and revenue.
- Reporting on key performance metrics to C-suite and delivering actionable insights to inform future business strategy.
- Acting as a figurehead for the Brave Bison brand, attending industry networking events and building relationships with key intermediaries, technology and media partners.
- Developing playbooks, frameworks and assets that scale our growth efforts globally.
