What you'll do

As a Brand Relations Marketing Manager in the Brands at M&S team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the vision to shape perceptions of our 140-year-old brand M&S for today and the future.

In this role you will be part of the team that aims to inspire, drive style and commerciality across our brands business. You will manage brand relationships, work with internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless development and execution of joint marketing initiatives to boost awareness & consideration of our branded offer.

Your strategic thinking, project management, organisational skills, and ability to build strong relationships will be crucial to your success in this role.

  • You will be the Marketing Relationships Lead for our top-tier third-party brand & concession partners
  • Tasked with driving overall awareness & consideration of the Brands at M&S proposition through developing strategic marketing plans for our key brand partners; both at and beyond launch
  • Working collaboratively with CX & Commercial teams to outline, develop & implement our value added services proposition for Brand partners, in order to unlock mutually beneficial funded opportunities to drive growth
  • You will own the marketing onboarding process for our top tier brand partners
  • Work closely with your marketing lead peers across brand and digital to drive longer-term customer acquisition, engagement & retention through ongoing activity which embeds them into the Brands at M&S family

Who you are

  • Proven experience working with brand partners and managing partner relationships / understanding of the third party landscape
  • Proven track record of marketing roles within branded fashion retail
  • Creatively minded, both in terms of campaign planning and thinking outside the box to create brand awareness and acquire and engage customers
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments- ideally experience within a matrix organisation
  • Comfortable owning high level strategy decisions and presenting to a Board of Directors
