An exciting, new opportunity has arisen to lead our own-label brand portfolio within Lidl GB, reporting to the Head of Brand.
This role will be responsible for managing our much-loved own-label power brands across Food and General Merchandise (Middle of Lidl). This includes working with our Global brands such as Europe's best-selling DIY brand, Parkside!

What you'll do
- Manage the lead own-label global and national brand portfolio across Food and General Merchandise (Middle of Lidl) such as Parkside, Crivit and Deluxe.
- Alignment of the lead own-label brand strategies and positioning, based on customer, category and commercial requirements.
- Responsible for relaunch and development of own-label national brands, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, such as buying, marketing, insights, as well as external suppliers and agencies.
- Define the USP and positioning of the national lead own-label brands, working with buying and packaging, to ensure products match brand positioning.
- Work with Customer Insights team to define target audience, and KPIs for all national own-label brands, aligned to the Lidl brand model.
- Monitoring and controlling the own-label brand portfolio's performance, reporting on hard and soft performance KPIs.
- Consult and support marketing and other departments, in relation to the implementation and activation of own-label brand activities.
- Collaborate with the Global brand team, ensuring the integrity and consistency of lead own-label brands across the Lidl group and in GB, acting as a country representative.
What you'll need
- Collaborative and influential communication skills, with a strength in cross-departmental stakeholder management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to see and set a vision, sell it in and bring it to life.
- Strong commercial acumen (numerical/analytical skills).
- Willingness and flexibility to travel nationally and internationally.
- Experience in raising awareness and upskilling colleagues on Brand topics via training and knowledge sharing is desirable.
