World Foods is one of the most vibrant and fast-growing categories in the UK FMCG sector, giving consumers access to adventurous flavour that livens up dinner rotations and uniquely bringing people together. We have a rare opportunity for an exceptional Brand Manager to join the General Mills Marketing team on the biggest and most established brand in the business, Old El Paso, to drive transformational change in the brand growth trajectory.
In this role, together with the UK World Foods Marketing team, you will be looking after two of our key brands - Old El Paso and Green Giant -market leading brands in their respective categories and strong universal brand equity and love. In this role you will be bringing to life the global brand strategies and working with the UKI business to commercialise them - supporting in innovation planning, gate process management, in-market tracking and providing recommendations on how we can improve our performance.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager (World Foods), you will working in a fast paced Brand Management function, as well as collaborate and communicate across a cross functional Market Acceleration Team that will deliver to consumer and business objectives.

What your role is
As the Brand Manager World Foods you will be developing a deep understanding of the consumer and using consumer insights to drive brand equity through the delivery of communication and innovation projects.
You will be collaborating with category development, sales, SRM, finance and operations to drive the business towards its growth targets and partnering cross functionally to define and execute optimal consumer-first channel and customer engagement strategies for growth across Channel customers.
As the Brand Manager World Foods you will support the planning and delivery of the brand strategy and performance across the 4P's, cascading across the cross functional business with clear direction and inspirational ambition to deliver against all growth initiatives.
As well as, support on the Brand Portfolio & 4-2-1 Innovation Pipeline, planning & impactfully implementing global and local innovation, renovation, PPA and outbound licensing initiatives.
You will be the Brand lead across Green Giant (supported and coached by the MM), a local jewel that is also within this portfolio, delivering the consumer and growth ambition,
What we are looking for
An experienced marketer with a personal accountability for delivering brand and business results and a love for food - even better Mexican food. You will have 3+ years of marketing/brand management experience preferably within FMCG and already at a brand manager level.
You're organized, structured and always have an overview of all the deliverables. You know how to bring multiple projects to a successful ending within the given timeframe, prioritising and simplifying when needed. You know how to manage obstacles and problem-solve when managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
You don't only focus on your own results, but always do what's best for the company and the brand. You think strategically and creatively, with the ability to turn insight into action. A self-starter, you work towards results, combining tenacity and urgency.
