The Brand Manager will lead the UK marketing plans and support the Marketing Manager in the future development of Bourbon and portfolio brands. They will own the commercial and activation delivery of the brands as well as being the custodian of the brand equities in the UK. A big part of the role is executing in key cities with a particular focus on London - home to some of the world's most influential consumers and customers.

As a Brand Manager you will inspire teams across the business with bourbon and portfolio brands. As part of your role you will deliver seasonal marketing activations, support key milestones in the commercial planning process, and ensure the brand owner and agencies keep delivering in line with the needs of the UK customers and consumers.

Role Responsibilities

  • Own execution & commercial delivery of assigned parts Bourbon and portfolio brands in the UK (inc. activation, price/ promotion, channel, customer)
  • Be custodian of the brands' DNA in the UK
  • Lead performance management and thorough ROI measurement for all investment
  • Provide support to regular reviews through business review presentations and overseeing monthly reporting
  • Create and deliver world class, insight and evaluation driven brand plans for the assigned projects. In so doing, maintain focus on profitably, market share and delivering annual targets.
  • Nurture collaborative working relationships with Global teams,
  • Manage marketing budget with a creative yet ROI driven mindset
  • Deliver marketing planning process across the portfolio to ensure our plans are executed within customer planning cycles and operational needs, while ensuring the brand owner and agencies are held accountable to deliver within these time frames

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant Marketing experience
  • Strong brand/ customer marketing knowledge with proven track record of delivering success
  • Track record in working in a high-performance culture with strong people skills
  • A self-starter, with strong planning, organisational, budget management skills, proven project Management and event management skills
  • A foundational level of commercial acumen, initial knowledge, and curiosity in the dynamics of a P&L
  • Demonstrable understanding of UK spirits consumers and customers
  • Ability to build positive relationships both internally and externally, with strong & confident presentation skills to both large and small groups
  • The ability to work within a variety of team situations, manage both local & global stakeholders as well as working independently
  • Ability to work to tight and challenging deadlines
  • Competent in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
