What your role is
Key Responsibilities
At Old El Paso we are on the journey to becoming one of the nation's top 10 family favourite meals, and we are seeking an innovative and creative Brand Experience Manager to join our team! OEP is obsessed about bringing the vibrancy of Mexican food to UK consumers and celebrating the shared experience it brings. We're looking for someone who understands and is up-to-date with trends, culture, and is curious about the changing media landscape and how best to approach it. And ideally you should LOVE tacos and fajitas as much as us...who doesn't?!
By joining our team on one of the region's largest established brands, you'll have the opportunity to leverage and hone your expertise in specific brand experience knowledge areas (Media, Retail Marketing, Brand Partnerships and more), as well as collaborate on culturally relevant ideas to create demand for our products and support Old El Paso's runway for growth. You will get exposure to external partners and internal experts, build your media and incentives knowledge areas, and sharpen your executional brilliance competence.
As the Brand Experience Manager, you will have the responsibility to overhaul our Retail Media strategy, executing powerful activations across key retailers, with excellent exposure to cross-functional teams and Senior Management. You will lead an unmissable Q1 brand partnership in-store through to targeted media channels, as well as kickstart the future of brand partnerships. You will also lead our Owned Channels portfolio from strategic growth, to owning the full influencer channel, in line with key media objectives. You will own external agency relationships and internal cross functional relationships, inspiring our teams on the brand's ambitions for growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the brand's Influencer platform in disruptive & effective ways, as well as owning the Owned Media strategy more broadly, that accelerates the brand and makes us unmissable.
- Own and transform the Retail Marketing strategy & execution, reshaping the future of our shopper activation plans. You will own the external agency relationship from strategic briefs to client management and internal Sales team collaboration.
- Lead Brand Partnership activation, push boundaries and elevate Old El Paso's cultural relevance, kickstarted with an unmissable Q1 partnership with Fajita Fridays right at the heart.
- Maintain regular Trade PR visibility and future brand award submissions (where relevant).
- Control total brand A&CP and make expenditure and procurement decisions appropriate to maximise business results/ROI.

Other Key Experience
- FMCG experience, ideally in a food or beverage environment.
- Innovative marketing, ability to identify areas of opportunity to build plans and push boundaries, and engage a wide network of stakeholders to deliver that plan.
- Practical & first-hand experience of shopper/retail marketing.
- Good understanding of the latest consumer / shopper / market insight and activation techniques
