What you'll do
The job will form part the Brand Content Marketing team, with in-house production capabilities and relationships with world-class social creative and media agencies. You will work in an experienced Brand team responsible for influencer, partnership and content marketing campaigns, working with our in-house team and specialist creative and media agencies.
Reporting into the Brand Content & Strategy Lead (Business), you'll manage the content marketing campaign activity for our business-focused brand. You must be able to lead multiple projects and briefs simultaneously - including brand campaigns that involve social advertising, influencer marketing workstreams, and social content development. You will collaborate and maintain close relationships with cross-functional teams to maximise the reach of our brand efforts and ensure alignment across channels and teams, including other communications disciplines. You must be able to write a solid agency brief, evaluate strategy, assess creative ideas and measure the overall effectiveness of our activity.
We need an innovative, agile and results-oriented campaign manager to join the team. You might have been a 'head of social' or account director at creative agency, social agency or another FTSE 100 company. Whatever your previous role, you must have a proven track-record on creating and owning high-impact content and influencer marketing campaigns across digital media platforms. An understanding of creative effectiveness on key platforms is what is needed to excel in this role. You will maintain an active awareness of emerging trends, new and existing platform formats, and generally stay abreast of creative best practice in the social and digital content space.
Based out of Speechmark, the London Vodafone digital centre of excellence located in Southwark, we are looking for solid strategic thinking balanced with the ability to roll up your sleeves when you have to. A thinker and a doer.
Who you are
- Extensive industry experience within a highly rated (social, creative or media) agency or an in-house social media department.
- Relevant management experience in the advertising and marketing industry - client, agency or consultancy side.
- Existing working relationships with all the major social platforms a plus.
- Experience of planning social and digital campaigns within the wider communications and marketing framework.
- You have ridiculously high standards with impeccable attention to detail. You are able to get the best creative work from our team and partners; good enough isn't good enough.
- You know how to properly brief an agency.
- Extensive experience in measuring the hard and soft impacts of social media performance - from brand uplift, business effects, reach, engagement, sentiment, and more much besides.
- In depth knowledge of capabilities and formats of each social platform, and how they can be pressed into service creatively to maximise campaign effectiveness.
- A clear viewpoint on the future of social platforms, content marketing and influencer marketing.
- A clear point of view on social's role and abilities in building brand consideration, and attracting new customers.
