Job Description:

In order to help drive further growth within the business, King is looking to hire an exceptional Brand Communications Manager. This is a new position that has been created in order to support the existing Brand Communications team within King.

Your role within our Kingdom

The Brand Communications Manager role is designed to support the Marcomms team's efforts to drive conversation, awareness and cultural relevance for the Candy Crush brand.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Brand Communications team to drive strategy and execution of earned-first initiatives and campaigns
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders and agencies to build a robust calendar of always-on brand activity for Candy Crush
  • Support Brand Communications team with reviewing always on content for the Candy Crush social media channels and creator content
  • Coordinate with and day-to-day management of PR, social & influencer marketing agencies
  • Work with key stakeholders internally to ensure integration across Brand Communications team plans and wider Consumer Marketing team
  • Track media coverage and compile social trends reports on progress of the Brand Communications team activity

Skills to create thrills

You have great passion for PR and social and how it can be used effectively and positively within a company. You should also have:

  • Experience managing multiple clients in PR or social agencies or managing agencies as part of an in-house team in growth environments with an emphasis on product and popular culture. Preferred industries include consumer technology, media and entertainment
  • Experience in creating engaging social content that resonates with our communities ensuring content ladders up to with our brand positioning and narrative
  • Have a great knowledge of social/digital media channels
  • Understanding social trends and consumer insights
  • Strong consumer/lifestyle background with proven track record in coordinating and executing creative earned-first campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Used to working to deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills so the candidate is able to work with other stakeholders within King and communicate with our agencies as required.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel
  • Meticulous attention to detail
