THE ROLEAs a Portfolio Manager you will support Senior Portfolio Manager to deliver high-quality portfolio analysis and insight across all activities related to a portfolio of venture and venture growth funds and direct investments or similar structures from our core investment programme, as well as the Life Sciences Investment Programme ('LSIP'), which invests in later stage Life Science funds; and, Future Fund: Breakthrough, a direct investment programme investing into deep tech and life science companies.

You will be a key point of contact for both direct and funds investment teams and will support the delivery of significant portfolio management activities, including all aspects of portfolio management through the lifecycle of the programmes and assisting the delivery of key reporting into BPC's portfolio to inform stakeholders and support investment decision making.

Supporting the delivery of high quality and insightful portfolio analysis working with investment and portfolio management colleagues based in the Sheffield and London offices is also required, as is liaising internally with risk, finance, and legal and externally with fund managers and portfolio companies.

With experience of working within Venture Capital or Private Equity, you will also have experience handling large and complex data sets and ability to resolve data quality issues with a collaborative mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
