The Role: Bodyshop Manager - Darlington
As Bodyshop Manager, you will take full ownership of the site's performance. You will lead your team to exceed financial targets, deliver outstanding repair quality, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
This role requires a strong balance of commercial awareness, operational control, and people-focused leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive site performance to meet and exceed financial and operational targets
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
- Manage recruitment, retention, and staffing levels
- Oversee workflow, productivity, and quality control
- Ensure efficient operations and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, insurers, and suppliers
- Promote and uphold the values of Steer Automotive Group
About You
- Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or similar role within the automotive industry
- Strong commercial and operational management skills
- Excellent leadership and team development capabilities
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding targets
