The Role: Bodyshop Manager - Darlington

As Bodyshop Manager, you will take full ownership of the site's performance. You will lead your team to exceed financial targets, deliver outstanding repair quality, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

This role requires a strong balance of commercial awareness, operational control, and people-focused leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive site performance to meet and exceed financial and operational targets
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
• Manage recruitment, retention, and staffing levels
• Oversee workflow, productivity, and quality control
• Ensure efficient operations and high levels of customer satisfaction
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, insurers, and suppliers
• Promote and uphold the values of Steer Automotive Group

About You

• Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or similar role within the automotive industry
• Strong commercial and operational management skills
• Excellent leadership and team development capabilities
• Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding targets
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service
