We're currently looking for an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead operations at our Basingstoke site someone who thrives on performance, people management, and driving continuous improvement.

The Role
As Bodyshop Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring operational efficiency, repair quality, and an outstanding customer experience. You'll lead a skilled team, manage workflow, and play a key role in delivering commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the bodyshop
  • Motivate and support a team of technicians, estimators, and administrators
  • Drive performance through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure repair quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards
  • Manage customer relationships and resolve issues professionally
  • Liaise with insurers, suppliers, and internal departments
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
  • Stay current with evolving repair methods and technologies

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a bodyshop management or senior leadership role
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of accident repair processes and workshop operations
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to manage budgets and boost profitability
  • Preferably with VDA (Vehicle Damage Assessor) or workshop control experience
  • Comfortable using management systems and performance reporting tools
  • Customer-focused and solutions-oriented approach
