About the Role

As Bodyshop Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our operations in Ayr, overseeing the daily running of the bodyshop while ensuring repairs meet the highest standards. From managing a talented team to achieving key financial targets, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of skilled accident repair professionals, including paint sprayers, panel beaters, MET technicians, and support staff.
  • Ensure all repairs meet or exceed manufacturer and industry standards, maintaining our reputation for excellence.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and operational costs to drive profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Track and achieve performance metrics, including KPIs, to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance, promoting a safe and productive workspace.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or in a similar leadership role within the automotive repair industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accident repair techniques, including panel, paint, and MET processes.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in bodyshop management software and data-driven decision-making.
  • A customer-focused mindset, with a track record of delivering exceptional service.
