Position Overview
As the Bodyshop Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of our bodyshop operations. From managing a team of talented technicians to ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining high-quality standards, you'll be instrumental in driving our success. Reporting into the General Manager, you will work closely to deliver business objectives and targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of bodyshop technicians to achieve performance targets and deliver exceptional results.
- Coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies and materials are available to support operations.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity in the bodyshop.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
- Collaborate with other departments, including customer service and parts procurement, to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, implementing best practices to enhance operations and stay competitive.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the automotive repair industry, with a focus on bodyshop operations.
- Substantial leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and industry-specific software.
