Block Manager - Hitchin
Newstaff Employment is recruiting for an experienced Block Manager to join a successful property management company based in Hitchin. This is a fantastic opportunity to take responsibility for a dedicated portfolio of developments and play a key role in delivering high-quality residential block management services.
Location Hitchin Salary £30,000 - £37,000 per annum + benefits Working Hours Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm (some evening client meetings required) Job Type Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Manage an allocated portfolio of residential buildings and developments Deliver efficient and accurate day-to-day property management services Ensure compliance with Landlord & Tenant Act, RICS, and ARMA regulations Oversee building maintenance and resolve property-related issues Attend evening client meetings as required Provide excellent communication and customer service to clients and residents

Essential Skills & Experience

3-5 years' experience as a Residential Block Property Manager with portfolio management responsibility Strong knowledge of Landlord & Tenant Act, RICS, and ARMA guidelines Good understanding of building maintenance issues Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong supervisory skills and ability to manage client relationships Proven customer service experience
