LSX Leaders -The Network for Life Science Executives is an influential community of senior life science decision makers that produces world class content, conferences and events for C-suite executives, investors and pharma, medtech and big tech deal makers.

With initiatives held across Europe and North America, we leverage our international network to create an impactful programme of high-level conferences, forums, showcases and networking events, that provide domestic and cross-border opportunities for start-ups through to publicly-listed companies, pharma / commercial leaders and the wider investment community.

The company performed exceptionally well during the pandemic and the pivot to virtual events and has successfully navigated the return to in-person and hybrid events in 2022 and 2023. The last 18 months have been the best sales months in the companies history and we are now looking for a vital new member of the team to join our sales force and help further grow our portfolio.

You will initially be responsible for selling delegate passes and showcase presentations across our flagship events includingLSX World Congress,LSX World Congress USA,RNA Leaders,Investival Showcaseand ourGala DinnerandAwards. You'll work on a mixture of long-running, industry-leading, repeat events and 1 or 2 of our exciting launches. If you're successful, the role will quickly provide a fast track to sponsorship sales opportunities and you'll receive full training in this regard.

You'll need to be organised, extremely proactive, adaptable, professional and personable and you'll need to relish a demanding fast-moving environment and opportunities to work outside your comfort zone and learn new skills. Most of all you'll need to be an exceptional team player - always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a task gets done.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously
  • Proactive, adaptable and happy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with face to face selling
  • Someone looking for a fast-track route to sponsorship sales
  • Some part-time experience in sales or a commercial/corporate environment
  • Demonstrable track record of hitting and exceeding personal or professional goals/targets
