The BIM Manager / Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects from conception to completion, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

The candidate will have a good technical knowledge of design for construction. The position will be based in our office in Burntwood, Staffordshire, with occasional requirements to visit sites around the UK.

Key Responsibilities include:
• BIM Coordination: Lead BIM coordination activities, including model integration, quality assurance, and clash detection using tools such as Navisworks and ACC. Conduct regular model reviews and resolve coordination issues in collaboration with the project team.
• BIM Coordination Meetings: Organise and lead BIM coordination meetings, ensuring clear communication between stakeholders and the successful resolution of technical issues.
• BIM Project Management: Manage and deliver day-to-day BIM activities for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with both internal standards and client-specific requirements.
• CDE Setup and Maintenance: Establish and maintain the Common Data Environments (CDEs) for BIM projects, ensuring data security, accessibility, and accuracy.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with internal stakeholders and clients as required to understand BIM requirements and ensure successful delivery of project goals.
• Documentation Development: Create and maintain key BIM documentation, such as, Creating and Maintaining BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)
• Provide technical support and training to team members in respect of BIM-related software, including, Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM360 and AutoCAD.
• Ensuring Information Management standards are adhered to across the platform in accordance with ISO19650.
• Supporting and promoting the proper use and roll out of ACC across the company.
• Develop data-rich 3D Revit MEP models.
• Produce detailed P&ID and layout drawings in accordance with CAD standards.
• Coordinate with all other project disciplines and perform clash detection.
• Carry out or manage site surveys, laser scanning and update/create models using point cloud data.
• Create and manage MEP families.

About You
• A third-level qualification in BIM or a related discipline (Engineering, or Construction).
• 10+ years industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience in setting up and managing Common Data Environments (CDEs).
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Level 2 BIM as a minimum, including ISO 19650 standards.
• Demonstrated experience in developing BIM documentation, including BEPs.
• Software expertise in ACC/AutoCAD/Navisworks/Revit/Point cloud integration.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines and levels within the organisation.
