Hybrid Working - 3 days in office

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Manager to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance, whilst managing a team of billing specialists. You will collaborate closely with various departments to streamline billing operations and enhance customer satisfaction.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Manage, motivate, and lead the team effectively
• Manage team performance
• Control and comply with internal accounting control processes
• Raise revenue & revenue deferral journals with supporting documentation
• Onboard new customer contracts
• Maintain billing rate cards/schedules
• Administer all automatic price increases to contracts
• Prepare billing analysis reports for the Billing Controller
• Stakeholder collaboration
• Develop and build strong and trusting cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders

• Experience in managing a team
• Ability to manage a geographically dispersed team
• Experience of driving a team to meet KPIs
• Excellent verbal/ written communication skills - ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Organised, able to multitask, prioritise and work to deadlines
• Great attention to detail with a high degree of IT literacy, including Excel
