Role Responsibility
The Financial Assessment & Income Unit (FA&I) are are looking to recruit to the post of Billing & Control Team Manager. This post is offered as a permanent position and is full time (37 hours per week). The Billing & Control Team are based at St Peters House in Broadstairs; however, FA&I also have an office base at Maidstone. The Authority supports hybrid working and the post currently works from home.
The Billing & Control Team are responsible for the invoicing of income due to the Authority on behalf of services provided by Adult Social Care. FA&I are on a journey to shaping our teams and processes to enable us to continue delivering efficient and effective outcomes for our internal and external stakeholders. This post leads for the introduction, support and administration of the IT solutions used across FA&I. This post requires you to manage our Billing & Control team who deliver an outstanding service which is customer focused.
To succeed in this role you must have excellent relationship management skills with demonstratable experience in systems, processes, and procedure development for increasing efficiency and accuracy. You will be responsible for implementing innovative solutions to improve service delivery. You will also possess excellent analytical skills and take a pro-active approach.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position.
