Bid Manager / Writer - Healthcare
Salary - Up to £50,000
Location - Manchester, Hybrid
We are working with a leading provider of health and social care services in the North of England. With a great track record, the organisation has grown from strength to strength, expanding their services in Enhanced Home Care, End of Life Care, Complex Care, and System Solutions.
Their focus is on delivering compassionate, person-centred care while working in partnership with local authorities, Integrated Care Boards, and the NHS to alleviate pressures on hospitals and improve community care.
The Bid Manager/Writer will have a unique opportunity to build and shape the organisation's bid management process from the ground up. Working alongside the Commercial Director and Business Development Manager, this role is integral to securing new business and driving the organisation's continued success.
The Bid Manager/Writer Role Features:
- The Bid Manager/Writer will manage the entire bid process, from proposal writing to submission.
- The role requires collaboration with public sector partners, including ICBs and local authorities.
- The Bid Manager/Writer will craft compelling, compliant, and clear bids that reflect the organisation's values and services.
- The role involves researching market trends and procurement needs to create winning proposals.
- The Bid Manager/Writer will support the development of better bid strategies and practices to drive repeat business.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in bid writing and management, with at least 3 years in a similar role (public sector preferred).
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects with excellent organisational skills.
- Familiarity with ICBs, local authorities, or healthcare sector bidding is desirable.
- A valid driving licence and flexibility to travel up to 4-5 days per month.
