The Role
At AMS, we focus on capability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. We're looking for a Bid Manager who brings strong skills in bid management and stakeholder partnering, and who enjoys shaping compelling, insight-led submissions.

Key Accountabilities
What you'll do:
- Apply your bid management skills to deliver high-quality RFIs and RFPs that clearly articulate the AMS value proposition and win themes.
- Use your project management capability to manage bids end-to-end, ensuring milestones, timelines and deliverables are consistently met.
- Apply your research and analytical skills to build a strong understanding of clients, markets and evaluation criteria, informing a compelling and evidence-based response.
- Collaborate with pursuit leads, subject matter experts and the wider growth team to shape win strategies, storyboards and competitor insights.
- Use your attention to detail and quality focus to review and refine bid content in line with brand guidelines and internal quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, supporting bid library development and sharing insight across the bid community.
- Use your relationship-building and influencing skills to manage stakeholder expectations and respond effectively to queries and challenges.
Skills & Requirements
Must-have
- Demonstrated ability in bid management, proposal development and project coordination.
- Good understanding of resourcing and RPO market drivers; understanding of business and sales process/cycle and associated roles
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders across different levels and functions
- Proven ability to engage with numerous subject matter experts within the organisation to obtain necessary information
- Strength in written communication, exceptional skills in editing and structuring complex information clearly and persuasively
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to translate insight into relevant bid content
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools (e.g. Word, Excel), or strong learning agility to adapt to new systems and processes.
Nice-to-have
- Familiarity with resourcing, RPO or workforce solutions environments.
- Exposure to multi-regional or global bid processes and working across cultures.
- Strength in influencing without direct authority and contributing to shared outcomes.
- Bid or project management qualifications (e.g. APMP, PRINCE2), or equivalent experience.
