Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday

We`re looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join our team at Ground Control. In this key role, you`ll lead the preparation, production, and delivery of winning bids across multiple sectors - helping us secure new contracts and drive business growth.

What You`ll Do

  • Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity to submission, ensuring compliant, high-quality, and timely proposals.
  • Lead bid strategy development and coordinate input from technical, commercial, and operational teams
  • Write and review persuasive responses that clearly communicate Ground Control`s value and expertise.
  • Mentor and support Bid Writers, developing team capability and maintaining high-quality outputs.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to align content, insight, and strategy.
  • Oversee post-bid reviews and continuous improvement to strengthen future submissions.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitors to shape winning strategies

What You`ll Bring

  • Proven success managing complex, high-value bids and proposals.
  • Strong writing and communication skills - able to craft clear, compelling responses.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids to tight deadlines.
  • Experience mentoring and leading bid teams.
  • Confidence collaborating with senior stakeholders across disciplines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bid management tools.
