The Role
As Bid Manager, you will oversee the entire bid management process, ensuring the creation and submission of high-quality, competitive bids. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales, Technical, Legal, and Finance, to develop compelling proposals that are both technically robust and strategically aligned with business objectives. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's growth by refining bid strategies, optimising processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process, coordinating input from cross-functional teams to create proposals that meet client needs and reflect organisational strengths.
- Work with business development teams to identify and assess bid opportunities, ensuring alignment with growth targets and company capabilities.
- Develop and maintain bid templates, documentation, and scalable processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all bid-related communications, maintaining strong stakeholder engagement throughout the process.
- Track key performance metrics, including bid success rates and process efficiency, to provide insights for continuous improvement.
