Position
Salary: Circa £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Duration: 12 months FTC
Hours: 36.5 hours a week (Monday - Friday)
Location: Remote
We are looking for an experienced BI Manager to join our team on a 12m fixed term contract, to plan, co-ordinate and oversee the design, development and implementation of the companies analytics.
In this role you will be responsible for the overall design and structure of the BI Solution, ensuring that it is optimised for data analysis and reporting. So if you have strong experience with business intelligence reporting, data warehousing and visualisation then we want to hear from you.
In this role you will...
• Produce and maintain monthly reports, such as; Adhoc reporting, daily update reporting and caseload management reporting on tight deadlines.
• Gather requirements then manage the prioritisation, design, build and deployment BI solutions to all key business stakeholders.
• Review the design, structure and methodologies currently used for reporting and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Work in collaboration with key stakeholders across the group identify and implement new BI solutions.
• Liaise closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to identify issues and suggest improvements
• Establish the requirements for a data warehouse and support the design, development and implementation of the data warehouse
• To support the Business Intelligence Report Developers in their roles, to help develop their knowledge and skills

What knowledge, skills and experience we need from you
. 3-5 years experience in data warehousing, data modelling and data visualisation
. Experience in managing the design, development and implementation of the companies analytics
. Proficient in programming languages, Python, SQL, Scala, R, Java
• Strong customer relationship and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and targets and to manage and prioritise your own and your teams time and workload
• Experience or knowledge of Power BI is highly desirable
• An organised working approach with an ability to be proactive
• Excellent team player with experience of discussing and resolving issues in collaboration with others
• The ability to motivate and guide a team towards common goals
• Ability to articulately explain tasks/ processes and impart knowledge
• Desirable working within Further Education Setting or Training Provider is essential
