Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Relevant professional qualification: e.g. RMN, CQSW/DIPSW, SROT, MRC Psych, Chartered Psychologist, Systemic Psychotherapist
- Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience.
Desirable criteria
- Management qualification or suitable training and evidence of willingness to undertake further training.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Minimum of 5 years experience of managing within a multi- professional, multi-agency child mental health environment.
- Experience of service development and change management
Skills
Essential criteria
- Strong leadership and management capacity obtained within a complex child multi-disciplinary team setting.
- Ability to build and develop teams.
- Ability to manage group dynamics, conflict and work with diversity.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable criteria
- Understanding of finance and budget management and ability to contribute to budget planning.
