Job Description

This is an integral role, supporting the Reward Team, with primary focus on Pension & Benefits plan administration and management of key Reward Vendors. The successful candidate would be expected to interact heavily with both the Reward Team, People Business Partners, local country leadership, Procurement, Accounts Payable and AskPeople (internal service desk or employee queries). As well as interaction with external vendors to manage plan administration, reporting, vendor relationships.

The Europe Reward team manage employee benefits across 29 locations, so this role will require benefits administration for locations outside of the UK.

What we expect of candidate, day to day:

  • Work closely with the Reward Team to deliver a best in class employee experience for benefits
  • Manage internal stakeholders and processes to deliver diverse benefit packages
  • Contribute to the development of the international benefit strategy
  • Lead employee benefits projects and engage both internal and external key stakeholders
  • Manage all benefits within the Cluster, from end to end basis.
  • Annual benchmarking of benefits & working with the local HR partners on innovation &/or areas for investment
  • Contribute to the design, implement and administration of new and innovative strategies for benefits in conjunction with the wider reward strategy, including overseeing the implementation of benefit programmes in new start up countries
  • Provide accurate and timely operational support, including data reconciliation with payroll, liaison with our benefit administrators and payment of invoices from third party benefit providers
  • Ownership of end to end Sourcing and Procurement requirements for areas of responsibility
  • Manage external vendor relationships to ensure compliance with Visa procedures and governance principles
  • Ensure compliance with Visa internal processes and procedures including process documentation, key access controls and cyber security and data privacy requirements.
  • Support in executing wellbeing strategy
  • Support on ad-hoc projects as required by the business

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Background in benefits either in an internal or consultancy role
  • Strong experience of HR or employee benefit strategies in Europe locations
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills and ability to engage with employees at all levels
  • Good Excel and analytical skills
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage work effectively
  • Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Experience of using Workday HRIS and finance systems (e.g. Ariba, Oracle) advantageous
