We are seeking to appoint a motivated and diligent non-teaching Behaviour Manager and Pastoral Support to work under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher, whether with individual pupils, small groups or parents using some expertise and/or specialism.

The role will provide a complimentary service to the school, addressing the needs of children who require assistance in overcoming barriers (including challenging behaviour, anxiety, and low self-esteem) to learning to achieve their full potential. Working under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher, the postholder will work with a range of pupils, but give priority to those who need the most help. The post will be school based but have a wider remit to include families and the wider community.

This is a crucial role within our school and falls within the Pastoral Team who are successfully led by our Assistant Headteacher - Inclusion and Wellbeing. We are looking to expand our pastoral offer as the school continues to grow. The primary focus will be ensuring students can access and attend lessons, with support and strategies employed to encourage this.

You must have good ICT skills allowing them to access emails, electronic resources, and the ability to use Microsoft Office. Excellent time management and organisation skills are essential, and you must be able to work on your initiative and have excellent communication skills.
